Join our dynamic team as a Lending Manager at our Credit Union! We are seeking a dedicated professional to direct and coordinate all lending activities, ensuring compliance with our lending policies and contribute to the achievement of our credit union goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor lending operations to meet established goals and objectives.
• Perform duties of a Consumer/Mortgage Lender, including interviewing loan applicants, explaining loan options, and approving loans.
• Prepare department schedules and reports, track sales and production figures, and update procedures and forms.
• Stay informed of market conditions and recommend changes or improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all lending regulations and participate in audits and exams.
• Review staff loan applications and provide recommendations to the management review committee.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3-5 years of similar or related experience.
• Education: A bachelor's degree, or achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).
• Skills: Understanding of and ability to interpret regulations affecting lending programs. Extensive knowledge of consumer and real estate lending practices and procedures. Familiarity with Meridian Link and Symitar is desired. Proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing software. Ability to lift or pull up to 25 pounds and some travel required.
